AgConnect is an initiative of The Tasmanian Agricultural Education and Training Partnership (TAETP). Formed in 2022, the TAEPT is a formal collaboration between key education providers and industry groups in Tasmania, aimed at enhancing training opportunities, aligning agricultural education, and building a skilled workforce to support the growth of the Tasmanian agricultural sector.
With hundreds of job openings across the state, there has never been a better time to explore a career in agriculture.
My hope was always to come back to the North-West Coast after finishing university for a job in an industry that I see as really important. I believe that research needs to have impact and not just be done for the sake of it.
